Green smoothies are great ways to effortlessly add more alkaline foods into your diet. Whilst eating a big bunch of leafy greens every day maybe sometimes challenging, tossing a handful of spinach or kale into the blender is something we never skip when making our morning smoothies.
Here is a list of ingredients to make a family-breakfast size green smoothie.
- 2 ripe bananas
- 3 dates
- a handful of greens of choice (eg. kale, lettuce, spinach, collards, swiss chards)
- 2-3 cups of plant milk (oat, soy, rice, coco), depending on desired consistency
Blend everything in a blender and enjoy!
